CAB

cab Produkttechnik is a German manufacturer of label printers and marking systems. CAB printers are chosen above all where the label is part of the production process: small labels with fine text, component marking, labelling on the line. The range includes compact desktop models, industrial printers, print modules and systems that print and apply labels automatically (print&apply).

What sets the brand apart

CAB focuses on print precision and integration into production. Some models come in 600 dpi versions, useful for small labels, dense DataMatrix codes and fine characters; see our guide 300 or 600 dpi. The printers use the manufacturer’s command language, and we check support for emulating other languages on the specific model. Print width, resolution and options (cutter, peel-off, rewinder) depend on the model.

How we work

1. Describe the label and the process

Size, material, what is printed, how long the label has to last and whether it is applied by hand or on the line.

2. We choose the option

A desktop or industrial printer, or a module for integration; for very small labels we decide together whether 600 dpi is needed.

3. We add the consumables

Paper or synthetic label rolls and ribbons suited to the working environment.

4. We set up and test

Templates, connection to your ERP, WMS or line control system and a check on your real labels.

Print and apply projects are discussed for the specific line: the product type, the label position, the line rhythm and the link with the control system. To verify the printed codes, see also scanere.md.

Service and support through AutoID

AutoID Moldova, through S.R.L. “POS CONSULTING”, represents CAB printers in Moldova and is your partner for selection, consumables, configuration and service. The printers carry the manufacturer’s warranty; the warranty period is 12 months. Service and integration into lines are arranged through AutoID. Prices are given on request.
